During 2011, unfortunately 415-419 Brixton Road fell victim to the London Riots. Over 50% of the building suffered fire damage making the unit untradeable. From the events that took place in 2011, this gave our client an opportunity and we set out to make the best from a bad situation.

Goodsir Commercial commenced the marketing of 415-419 Brixton Road and explored the options available to the client in order to achieve the most from thier asset. From the initial marketing, we received interest from a number of parties however this was not for the space as a whole. With this in mind, the decision was taken to split the retail aspect into three separate units known as 415, 417 and 419 Brixton Road.

Today, all three of the retail units have successfully been let to well known mobile phone operators and each of the lettings have been key to increasing rental values on the Brixton Road.
